PATIENTS: TREATMENT OPTIONS
We Care is a dual diagnosis center providing care for Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health Symptoms. Our treatment programs bring the mind, body, and brain together. Wherever you are in your recovery, comprehensive treatment plans are provided for each individualized patient. As a dual diagnosis center, we have succeeded in alleviating symptoms of treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other chronic symptoms while providing a space for you to find recovery from substance use.
The beginning of a treatment program
DETOX TREATMENT
A facility where patients receive round-the-clock supervision from medical professionals and other licensed staff members prior to beginning their treatment with We Care. This constant supervision is essential to the individual’s health and safety. The length of the detox period varies from person to person and depends on a lot of factors, including their drug of choice and the length of time they were using it. Generally, the detox phase of treatment lasts somewhere between three and ten days.
RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT
Inpatient addiction treatment requires that a person lives full-time at a treatment facility often for 30-60. As part of an inpatient program, those struggling with addiction will have round-the-clock access to medical care and resources to help with their withdrawal symptoms. You will also have the ability to attend individual and group therapy to begin addressing the roots of addiction and start learning healthier coping strategies that they can use instead of drugs or alcohol in times of stress.
Pending on your treatment plan, these programs are an ideal transition to our inpatient care program.
Treatment with We Care
PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP)
This type of treatment is sometimes referred to as a day program or PHP. It provides individuals with access to intensive treatment without requiring them to stay in the facility overnight. It allows you to receive the care you need while still enjoying a certain amount of freedom so that you don’t have to put your life entirely on hold. PHP treatment is considered a useful option for many substance abuse disorders. It can also be helpful for those who are struggling with mental illnesses. On average, people going through this type of treatment receive about six hours of treatment per day for up to five days per week. The total length of time that you’ll stay in a partial hospitalization program depends on a lot of factors, including the severity of your symptoms and a treatment professional’s assessment of your progress.
As part of a partial hospitalization program, you’ll receive medical monitoring while you’re in the program. You’ll also have a chance to participate in a wide range of evidence-based therapies. Such treatment includes things like cognitive-behavioral therapy, group counseling, and mindfulness practices.
INTNSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS (IOP)
A program where people are given a chance to receive treatment during the day while still having the freedom to go about their business and stay in their own home or a structured living environment. The program is usually 3 hours a day 5 days per week. As with other treatment programs, the exact duration will vary depending on the severity of your symptoms and an expert’s assessment of your progress. In IOP treatment, the primary focus is on preventing relapse, finding coping skills for mental health, helping individuals to create secure social support networks, and teaching them how they can deal with triggers in effective and appropriate ways.
OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS (OP)
This is the last level of addiction and mental health treatment, often called OP for short. Outpatient is the least restrictive level of care, allowing for a slow integration with your day to day life. It requires that an individual work face-to-face with addiction and mental health professionals, a few times a week. This level of care includes individual counseling, group counseling, and mindfulness-based programs building your toolbox of coping skills. Through these programs, you build a sustainable foundation to continue with recovery after you graduate from a clinical program.
All of our programs give you the flexibility with Telehealth options to receive treatment while simultaneously continuing in school or work.
